Tether Launches QVAC, a Decentralized AI Platform for Local Devices
Tether has unveiled its QuantumVerse Automic Computer (QVAC), a peer-to-peer AI platform designed to operate on local devices without reliance on centralized cloud infrastructure. The announcement, made on May 14, positions QVAC as a scalable solution for decentralized AI applications, emphasizing privacy and autonomous sovereignty.
Initial applications under development include QVAC/Translate and QVAC/Health, targeting critical use cases while preserving user control. CEO Paolo Ardoino framed the launch as a challenge to the current AI paradigm, which he described as fragile and opaque. The MOVE signals Tether’s ambition to dominate the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence.
